Baltic Towers was established in 2023 as a joint venture between Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A. and the Spanish company GRI Renewable Industries, S.L. The company was founded to implement one of the most important industrial investments for the offshore wind sector – the construction of the largest offshore wind tower factory in Europe. The facility is located on Ostrów Island in Gdańsk, in close proximity to the port, which ensures optimal logistics for the supply and transportation of oversized structures. Production at the factory commenced in May 2025, with the first components manufactured in September 2025. The modern production hall, spanning 6.2 hectares and equipped with high-capacity infrastructure, enables the manufacturing of tower sections weighing up to 500 tonnes, with lengths of up to 50 metres and diameters of up to 11 metres.
