Branżowe Centrum Umiejętności in Miastko (BCU)
operating within the structure of the Complex of General and Technical Schools in Miastko
The Branżowe Centrum Umiejętności (Industry Skills Centre) in Miastko is the first public training centre in Poland specialising in the area of heat pumps and shallow geothermal energy. BCU trains pupils, teachers, students, and adults, responding to the dynamic needs of the renewable energy market.
The centre conducts industry training and disseminates modern energy technologies, combining theory with practice in modern teaching workshops. It cooperates with entrepreneurs, local government units, and industry institutions, building a regional ecosystem of competencies in the green transformation sector.
The undertaking is being realised within the framework of the competition „Establishment and support of the functioning of 120 Industry Skills Centres (BCU)” implementing the concept of Centres of Vocational Excellence, co-financed by funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO).
