Jan Piotrowski is a retired soldier (Lt Col (Res.)), a graduate of the Officer Training School of Communications Forces in Zegrze. He began his service in the 4th Air Defence Missile Brigade, where he held the positions of Chief of Communications for the Missile Battalion and Commander of the Communications Company. For 20 years, he served in the structures of the Regional Military Representation, where he performed his duties as a military representative and later as Deputy Chief and Chief. During his service, he supervised the delivery of military equipment and actively participated in many implementation programmes for new military equipment in Poland and abroad. After leaving the army in 2020, he began working at the Military University of Technology as a specialist in the certification of quality management systems in accordance with NATO AQAP publications. In 2023, he took up the position of Director of Military Programmes at Advanced Protection Systems, where he managed the implementation of anti-drone systems in the Polish army. Since 2025, he has been working as a Director at Rockfin and, as the Management's Plenipotentiary, is responsible for the development of the Defence sector.
Jan Piotrowski studied at Gdańsk University of Technology, where he completed postgraduate studies in Management and Marketing, as well as postgraduate studies in „ISO Standards and Total Quality Management”. He has completed a series of specialist courses and training sessions on quality management and NATO standards concerning planning, risk management, and configuration management in military equipment supplies. He is an expert in the quality of supplies of this equipment.
For merit in military service, he was awarded the gold medal „For Services to Homeland Defence” and the gold medal „Armed Forces in the Service of the Fatherland”.
He is married, has a wife called Beata and 2 children: Julia and Jakub.
His interests include sport and travel.
