A graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Warsaw University of Technology and postgraduate studies in company management at the Warsaw School of Economics. 

An entrepreneur and manager with over 30 years of experience in the energy and IT sectors. He co-founded and served as long-time president (2002-2012) of the Polish Power Exchange. He has consulted with numerous energy sector companies in Poland, Europe, and the US. From 2015 to 2019, he shaped the energy market in the Persian Gulf countries as director of a project financed by six GCC countries at the regional transmission system operator – GCCIA. He has worked for, among others, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), Columbus, and NODES – the European Flexibility Platform. He is an expert at the Civic Institute and co-founder of the Civic Coalition's energy program. He is a lecturer at Collegium Civitas and other universities.
