A graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Warsaw University of Technology and a postgraduate business management course at the Warsaw School of Economics.
An entrepreneur and manager with over 30 years of experience in the energy and IT sectors. Co-creator and long-time president (2002-2012) of the Management Board of the Polish Power Exchange. A consultant to many companies in the energy sector in Poland, Europe, and the USA. From 2015-2019, he developed the energy market in the Persian Gulf countries as a project director financed by 6 GCC countries at the regional transmission system operator – GCCIA. He has worked for, among others, NFOŚiGW, Columbus, and NODES – a European flexibility platform. An expert at Instytut Obywatelski and a co-creator of the Civic Coalition's energy programme. A lecturer at Collegium Civitas and other universities.
