Jan Domanik has over 20 years of experience in the financial and governmental institution sectors. He has extensive experience in sustainable development-related topics. He has supported major banks in Poland and abroad with topics concerning the identification of key regulatory obligations, the design of processes and products compliant with market standards (e.g. LMA), carbon footprint calculation (including for investment portfolios), the development of reporting compliant with CSRD directive requirements, and decarbonisation plans, including accession to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). He has participated in projects concerning the identification of key ESG risk factors to which financial institutions' investments were exposed.

In his career, he participated in the audits of financial statements of major banks in Poland. He also supported clients, both Polish and foreign, in developing their businesses in Poland, Central and Eastern European countries, and the Middle East.

He has been associated with PFR since 2025. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2024, he worked in the audit and business advisory departments at PwC. Before joining PwC, he was employed at the National Bank of Poland for over 2 years.
