Biography

Leszek Bonna, born in 1961, is a Chojnice native. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology. He completed postgraduate studies in healthcare management and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Gdańsk Foundation for the Management of Humanities (GFKM). He initially worked as a construction worker, then as an entrepreneur. From 2003 to 2019, he served as director of the Chojnice Hospital. He stemmed the rapid growth of the facility's liabilities and improved the quality of services provided. He is a community activist and member of numerous associations, receiving the Friends of Children Society award for his charitable work on behalf of children. From 2002 to 2006, he served as a Chojnice councilor. Since 2006, he has been a councilor in the Polish Army Regional Assembly. In November 2019, he assumed the position of Deputy Marshal of the Polish Army. He is responsible for transport, infrastructure, property, the economy, and the labor market.
