A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and an Executive MBA, he is a manager certified by the International Project Management Association. He has specialized in energy development for 27 years.
As a long-time director of the Investment Department at Polish Power Grids, he coordinated the development of the national power grid and took an active part in creating legal regulations dedicated to the energy sector.
He managed, among others, the Poland-Lithuania power project co-financed by European funds and the construction and expansion of the transmission network for EURO 2012.
Over the past few years, he has prepared and implemented a number of energy projects within the Polish Biogas Group, part of the French company Total Energies. At the Polish Biogas Group, he served as President of the Management Board of PGB Inwestycje and Vice President of the Management Board of PGB Serwis. As Vice President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Renewable and Distributed Energy (PIGEOR), he led efforts to develop legal regulations aimed at the development of the energy sector, including renewable energy sources.
He currently serves as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at PGE Polska Grupa Energetyki (PGE Polish Energy Group) and serves on the governing bodies of several energy industry organizations. As Vice President of the Governing Board of the Polish Electricity Association (PKEE), he represents Poland in the international organization Eurelectric. He also holds the positions of Vice Chairman of the Polish Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC), President of the Management Board of the Polish Thermal Energy Association (PTEC), and Member of the Management Board of the Polish Power Plants Economic Association (TGPE). He was also appointed to the Energy and Climate Policy Committee at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (KIG).
