Biography

For over a decade, Monika Gruźlewska has been involved in regulatory affairs and public affairs for the energy industry. In recent years, she worked for Poland's largest energy producer, coordinating regulations for the heating segment and activities aimed at public administration. Furthermore, she gained experience in international communication firms, carrying out corporate communication projects for the energy and industrial sectors.

She participates in working groups, including the Team for Heat Sector Transformation and the definition of the heat market operating model at the Ministry of Energy, and the Cross-Sectoral Accelerator for the Development of Polish Energy established by URE. Her expertise covers the transposition of EU regulations into the national legal system and the development of regulatory solutions supporting the transformation of district heating, including in the areas of increasing the share of RES, support systems, and tariffs. She is an active participant in legislative work at the national and EU level.

Co-author and coordinator of industry reports on the impact of EU regulations on the decarbonisation of district heating and its electrification, author of articles and scientific publications in the field of energy.

Since March 2025, Monika Gruźlewska has been serving as the Director of the Polish District Heating Association.
