Sławomir Grądziel, prof. dr hab. inż., has been associated with University of Technologyfor Cracow. currently serves as Dean ofat the Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering (term 2025-2028). His research interests focuson issues related to thermal flow processes occurring in conventional and nuclear power plants , as well as complex problems related to the flexibility of power units (startups, planned and emergency shutdowns, and rapid load changes). He has also focused on renewable energy sources, participating in an international project financed by the Horizon 2020 program. He is the supervisor ofa doctoral thesis in the "Implementation Doctorate" program – a topic related to the development of an integrated hydropower unit for low-head hydropower plants.
