Chairman of the Management Board of ORLEN Neptun, the company within the ORLEN Group responsible for offshore wind projects. Involved in the energy sector since the beginning of his professional career. He has gone through all career levels, gaining managerial experience in domestic and international corporations.
From 1995 to 1998, he worked as an engineer at Zakład Energetyczny Łódź-Teren (now the Łódź Branch of PGE Distribution), and subsequently (1998-2002) in the Tariffs Department of the Energy Regulatory Office. From 2002 to 2004, he held the position of Management Board Member for Marketing and Trade at Stoen in Warsaw, and after the company was acquired by the RWE concern, he was responsible for the entire regulatory area within it. Between 2004 and 2011, he was associated with Vattenfall, initially as Sales Director at the Warsaw combined heat and power plants, and later as Director for Regulation and Market Development at Vattenfall Poland.
Between 2012 and 2013, he held the position of Vice President of the Management Board for Commerce at ENEA SA. Concurrently, for a period of several months, he managed the entire operations of the ENEA capital group as Acting President of the Management Board. From 2014 to 2017, he was the Business Development Director at Ramboll Polska, a company belonging to the Danish Rambøll – one of the largest engineering consultancy firms with a global reach. From 2017 to 2024, he was associated with the British Embassy in Warsaw as Director for Energy and Renewable Sources.
Directly before taking up the position of President of the Management Board of ORLEN Neptun, he managed as Country Manager the team of consultants at Forte Renewables Polska – a company founded in 2012 in Amsterdam specialising in technical consulting for photovoltaic as well as onshore and offshore wind energy projects.
Graduate of the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering of Lodz University of Technology and the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz.
