Polish electricity networks (PSE) are a strategic energy company belonging to the Treasury. The PSE task is to balance the power system, i.e. ensuring that electricity needed to recipients throughout the country is delivered to them, regardless of the time of day and year. Thanks to the lines of the highest voltages, electricity generated in the national power system goes to the network of local distributors, and through them to enterprises and households. Anyone who uses electricity, therefore, uses the PSE transmission infrastructure.
PSE from July 3, 2021, they play the role of an energy information operator (OIRE), whose task is to implement and then administer the central energy market information system (CSIRE).
