One of the key challenges of the energy market is the need to provide qualified staff. Planned investments related to the development of offshore wind energy and the construction of a nuclear power plant will require the development of new competences and the provision of thousands of specialists. These are not the only areas where the supply of specialists will be necessary.
Therefore, at the request of our exhibitors, we dedicate the third day of the PowerConnect Expo to education and career topics. On this day, we will invite people open to changing industries, potential employees, as well as students, graduates and students of technical schools. We will discuss the issues of reskilling, the broad needs of the sector in terms of staff training and professional development opportunities in the energy industry.

Thematic educational paths The aim of the Education and Career Day is to familiarize participants - people open to retraining, students, graduates and students of technical schools - with the possibilities of professional development in the energy industry. Participants will be divided into smaller groups that will be guided around selected stands, where they will learn about the companies' mission, their projects and employment, internship and apprenticeship offers.
Exhibitor presentations on the main stage Company representatives will have the opportunity to present their companies, development programs and recruitment projects on the main stage.
Job Wall with job, internship and internship offers. A Job Wall will be created in the fair space, i.e. a wall with current job, internship and internship offers from companies. Short films promoting exhibitors will also be shown there.
Workshops for young people As part of the Education and Career Day, a number of workshops will be held for young people interested in development in the energy industry. Some of the workshops will be conducted by selected exhibitors.
Competitions with prizes and attractions for participants Numerous attractions and competitions with prizes are planned for the participants of the Education and Career Day.
