He comes from Gdańsk, where he graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology. He started his professional career at Hydrobudowa 6 SA, serving as a trainee engineer, foreman, works manager, construction manager, and construction group manager. In 2005, he started working at Hydrobudowa Gdańsk SA as director of the industrial construction department. Then he managed the hydrotechnical construction department of this company, rising to the position of technical director and member of the management board. In 2007, he was entrusted with the task of consolidating the Polish construction companies of the Bilfinger group into the newly established company Bilfinger Berger Budownictwo SA, of which he became the President of the Management Board. As a result of ownership changes, the company has been a member of the international PORR Group since 2015. Privately, he is a fan of hunting and long walks with dogs.
