He was born on January 4, 1971 in Gdańsk.
In 1996, he graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Gdańsk. In 2012, he completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Finance and Management of the WSB University in Gdańsk.
He worked, among others, at the Bankowy Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji "Heros-Life" (1996–1997), he was also the director of the Sopot branch of ERGO HESTIA (1997–2002).
In the years 1994–1998, he was a councilor of the Pruszcz Gdański City Council and served as its vice-chairman. From 1998 to 2005 he was a councilor of the Gdańsk County Council; until 2002 he chaired the council, and in 2002–2005 he was deputy mayor of Gdańsk. From 2005 to 2010, he served as deputy mayor of Pruszcz Gdański. In the period 2010–2019, he was a councilor of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Assembly, a member of its management board, and from 2018 to 2019, he was a deputy marshal.
In the Senate of the 10th term, he served as Senate Secretary.
Until 2019, he was the president of the Association of Polish Regions of the Baltic-Adriatic Transport Corridor.
He was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit.
He belongs to the Civic Platform of the Republic of Poland and is a member of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Board of this party.
