Wojciech Folejewski in 1993 - 2007 worked in managerial positions, including in British-American Tobacco (BAT, the group's entrance to the Polish market) and Netia (launching the services of independent telephony in the Tri-City). In the years 2008-2012 he was the operational director of the Government Celebrity Company PL.2012, participating in the preparations of Poland and being a member of the National Organizational Staff of the European Football Championships in Euro 2012. Then, as the board of the management board and a member of the Management Board for the implementation of investments in PKP Polish Railway Lines, he was responsible for 2015 for the full investment portfolio of railway infrastructure in Poland, including Strategic Pendolino project.

In 2016, he worked as a deputy director in the Directorate for the Expansion of the City of Gdańsk. From 2017, he was associated constantly with Gdynia: as the President's representative, he coordinated the process of reorganizing ABK units and the creation of a new unit of the Board of Buildings and Municipal Place (ZBiLK).

In November 2017, he took the office of Deputy Director on the Road and Greenery Board in Gdynia, and from 2019 the position of director of ZDiZ. From November 2021, appointed as the president of the District Board of Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o. o. with its registered office in Gdynia, he is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the OPEC 2023-2040 strategy and all matters in the field of enterprise and the development of municipal heat energy in the Gdynia, Rumia and Wejherowo region. Member of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Commerce Polish Heating (IGCP), initiator and participant in decarbonization programs and international initiatives for the development of renewable energy in the area.
