Monika Gruźlewska has been involved in regulatory and public affairs activities for the energy industry for over a decade. In recent years, she worked for Poland's largest energy producer, coordinating regulations for the heating sector and activities aimed at public administration. She also gained experience at international communications firms, implementing corporate communications projects for the energy sector and industry.
She participates in working groups, including the Team for Heating Transformation and Defining the Heating Market Operational Model at the Ministry of Energy, and the Cross-sectoral Accelerator for the Development of the Polish Energy Sector, established by the Energy Regulatory Office (URE). Her expertise encompasses the transposition of EU regulations into the national legal system and the development of regulatory solutions supporting the transformation of district heating, including increasing the share of renewable energy sources, support systems, and tariffs. She actively participates in legislative work at the national and EU levels.
Co-author and coordinator of industry reports on the impact of EU regulations on the decarbonization process of the district heating sector and its electrification, author of articles and scientific publications in the field of energy.
Since March 2025, Monika Gruźlewska has been the Director of the Polish Thermal Energy Society.
