Sławomir Grądziel, Prof. Dr Hab. Eng., has been associated with for 32 years Polytechniccough Krakowa. Currently functions as Deanand Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy, Cracow University of Technology (term 2025-2028). His scientific interests focusAh on issues related to flow and thermal processes occurring in in conventional and nuclear power plants and complex issues related to the flexibility of power blocks (start-ups, planned and unplanned shutdowns, and rapid load changes). His interests also turned towards renewable energy sources, by participating in an international project funded by the Horizon 2020 programme. PDoctoral thesis supervisor in the „Implementational Doctorate” programme” – related topic with the development of an integrated hydro-unit for low-head hydroelectric power plants.
