After two days of substantive debates and inspiring discussions, it was time for something just as important – Education and Careers Day, organised under the patronage of the Ministry of National Education and the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Above all, this is an investment in the future of the energy sector’s labour market. Over 2,200 school pupils, students and people seeking new professional challenges had a unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of an industry that drives the economy. Networking zones, practical workshops and inspiring talks by experts allowed participants not only to gain valuable knowledge, but also to make contacts that could become a gateway to a career in this rapidly growing field. The energy of the young met the experience of leaders here – and this combination always leads to innovation!
The highlight of the Education and Careers Day was the Round Table, which served as a forum for a lively exchange of experiences and ideas on the future of education in the energy sector. It brought together, in one place, education experts, representatives of central and local government, business leaders, universities and training institutions. The discussions were not limited to theory – the real needs of the labour market were compared with the current education system, in a search for the best solutions for the future. It was here that ideas were born which may set the direction for a new generation of specialists in the energy sector.

Preparations for the next edition are already underway – next year, industry leaders will meet once again at the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Congress Centre to continue discussions on the future of the energy sector and set the direction for its development.
This event is being organised as part of the call for applications for funding under the Development Plan for the implementation of a project within the framework of investment call A.3.1.1 entitled „Establishing a system for the coordination and monitoring of regional activities in the fields of vocational education, higher education and lifelong learning, including adult learning”.
