Poland is beginning the process of building its first nuclear power plant. One of the accompanying measures will be the design of a modern information and education centre to support communication about the nuclear power programme. This is a „high-risk” area: the message can easily be oversimplified towards public relations or, conversely, dominated by excessive technicality, making it difficult for non-expert audiences to understand the content. Various models of such centres operate in Europe: from classic visitor centres at operating power plants, through city centres, to hybrid solutions combining exhibitions, school programmes, elements of stakeholder dialogue, and digital communication.A roundtable discussion with experts involved in the operation of these units at European nuclear power plants will cover proven educational tools and methods for presenting reliable information, as well as highlight solutions that work best in practice and those that do not yield expected results.The workshop will take place on 18 March 2026 at Amberexpo, ul. Power Games – Polish Power Engineers Championships – Electricians' Competitions

The Electrician's Handbook A solo competition consisting of two parts: first, the participant must manually saw through a thick power cable (240 mm2), and then mount a lighting control system on the wall operated from three different locations (using two-way switches and a three-way switch).
Glitch Program A task involving the diagnosis of a completed mixer system; the competitor has 10 minutes to familiarise themselves with the diagram and 30 minutes to find, mark on the drawing, and describe as many errors and faults in the installation as possible.
Assemble the remote control for the engine A joint task for a two-person team, involving the assembly of a direction control system for a single-phase motor, utilising a control cassette, contactors with a self-holding function, and interlocks to prevent simultaneous engagement of the two

Meeting for companies interested in joining the offshore wind supply chain
Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic invites representatives of Polish manufacturing, engineering, and service companies to participate in the „Meet the Buyer – TIER 1 Supplier Day” event, which aims to build a strong domestic supply chain for the developing offshore wind sector.
During the meeting, we will present the Group's strategic development plans concerning its role as a TIER 1 supplier for offshore wind energy in the coming years. Attendees of the event will learn about opportunities for cooperation with the Group and the conditions for entering the supply chain for projects implemented in the Baltic Sea.
The event programme also includes case studies from Polish offshore developers, who will present the requirements for suppliers and their experiences in building a local industrial supply chain.
An important element of the meeting will also be a presentation by the Industrial Development Agency on financial instruments for businesses, as well as a discussion of the necessary competencies for companies to maximise local content in offshore wind.

The importance of materials is crucial at all stages of a nuclear facility's lifecycle. All stakeholders – the regulator, investor/operator, and supply chain companies – must have personnel who clearly understand the requirements and how to meet them. Competence development is essential from the very beginning of an investment project and should continue throughout its entire implementation. In addition to purely technical issues, organisational aspects must also be considered, and attention paid to safety culture.Based on Finnish and Polish experiences, the workshop will provide an overview of building competencies in the area of materials used in nuclear power plants. Norway and Poland are long-standing partners in cooperation for energy security and the development of the electricity sector towards increasing the potential of renewable energy sources.
Since 2018, Equinor, one of Norway’s leading offshore energy companies, has been making a strong mark on the Polish offshore wind market. The company holds a 50% stake in the Baltic 1, Baltic 2 and Baltic 3 offshore wind farm projects, which have a combined capacity of 3 GW.
In parallel, the Polish leader in the fuel sector – Grupa ORLEN, is developing its installations in the oil & gas sector and increasing its production volumes on the so-called Norwegian shelf, including through the company ORLEN Upstream Norway.
Our countries have very high ambitions, including in the field of offshore wind farms. By 2040, Poland plans to achieve a volume of around 18 GWe, while the Norwegian offshore wind strategy envisages as much as 30 GWe in the same period.
In May 2025, the ministers responsible for energy and climate in Poland and Norway signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation in the areas described above. This is to be achieved, among other things, through the exchange of services and products within supply chains, cooperation between entities in the energy and fuel sectors of both signatory countries, and even better utilisation of financial resources from Norwegian and EEA funds.
Regardless of the above, many areas of industrial and economic cooperation between our countries, including the shipbuilding sector, offshore oil & gas, offshore wind, and many others, are already being implemented.
During the Polish-Norwegian Industrial Cooperation Forum, we will discuss the real scale of this cooperation and development prospects for the coming years with a broad and cross-sectional group of representatives from industry and politics.12:40–13:00

The challenge: Producers of heat for district heating systems in Poland must transform their infrastructure to meet regulatory requirements concerning energy efficiency, and the reduction of industrial emissions and greenhouse gases. There are many solutions that meet these requirements, each with its limitations.
Nuclear reactors can be an important element of a country's heat generation infrastructure. The use of heat from nuclear reactors in district heating is a challenge that is not only technical, but also financial, regulatory, and social. The discussion panel will focus on the implementation of innovative projects in the European Space Agency (ESA) and collaboration with technology partners and contractors. Participants will concentrate on the lessons learned from previous cooperation with ESA. The discussion will cover, among other things, issues related to testing new technologies, risk management, organisation of pilot projects, and regulatory and technical barriers. The panel will be expert in nature and its aim will be to exchange experiences and good practices, rather than evaluate them.
During the panel, we will discuss, among other things:

• how we created Poland's first integrated network asset database and what resulted from it,
• how we participated in the creation of devices that didn't previously exist in the world.
Our partners from Phoenix-RTOS, Atlas, Apator, Mikronika, Gdańsk University of Technology and the Institute of Power came to the expert discussion, along with leaders of key projects undertaken at Energa-Operator. The ambitious investment plans of PSE for the coming years mean not only the modernisation and construction of many thousands of kilometres of new lines and substations, but also the development of innovations, such as rail bridge technology or their widespread use, for example, increased use of high-temperature conductors (HTLS).
The actions planned for 2025-2037 involve nearly 400 investment tasks, including: transmitting power from Polish offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea, from nuclear power plants, integrating onshore renewable energy sources with the National Power System, and connecting new, stable generation sources and energy storage facilities. These investments are intended to significantly reduce the risk of failures by replacing depleted installations with modern structures. Furthermore, they can significantly increase the investment attractiveness of the region by creating conditions for locating and developing business activities.
