Registration is required
Location:
Conference Center | Room 1B
Event description:

Free workshop

Language: English (no translation)

The importance of materials is crucial throughout all stages of a nuclear facility's lifecycle. All stakeholders—regulators, investors/operators, and supply chain companies—must have personnel who clearly understand the requirements and how to meet them. Competency development is essential from the outset of an investment project and should continue throughout its implementation. Beyond strictly technical issues, organizational aspects must also be considered, and a culture of safety must be fostered.
Drawing on Finnish and Polish experiences, the workshop will provide an overview of competence building in the area of materials used in nuclear power plants. Lessons learned from previous activities and good practices will be presented, related issues in the context of the Polish nuclear power program will be discussed, and potential directions for further cooperation will be identified.
The workshop will take place on March 18, 2026 at Amberexpo, ul. Żaglowa 11, in Gdańsk during Power Connect (room 3, conference center, 2nd floor, access will be marked).
