Street lighting modernization – energy efficiency, improved safety, and environmental protection. Selected examples from local governments.

1. Modern challenges dictate the need to take action to reduce energy consumption. Modernizing street lighting is a proven way to achieve energy efficiency. This can reduce energy consumption by up to 60%.
2. Modernization is one of the core services provided by Energa Oświetlenie. It involves conducting an audit, developing a design, and supplying and installing new fixtures. Replacing lighting with LEDs is also an effective way to eliminate lighting system malfunctions.
3. Modernizing street lighting primarily means reducing energy consumption and, consequently, reducing maintenance costs. Improving safety through improved pedestrian crossing lighting and uniform street lighting is also important. Switching to LED lighting also means achieving a measurable environmental impact in the form of reduced CO2 emissions and other harmful substances.
4. The positive aspects of modernisation will be presented using selected local government examples, which may encourage others to take action to actually reduce energy consumption.
