Jan Domanik has worked in the financial and government sectors for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in sustainable development. He has supported leading banks in Poland and abroad in identifying key regulatory obligations, designing processes and products compliant with market standards (e.g., LMA), calculating carbon footprints (including for investment portfolios), developing reporting in line with the CSRD requirements, and decarbonization plans, including joining the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). He has participated in projects identifying key ESG risk factors affecting financial institutions' investments.
Throughout his career, he has participated in audits of the financial statements of the largest banks in Poland. He has also supported clients, both Polish and international, in developing their businesses in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
He has been associated with PFR since 2025, previously in the years 2008-2024 he worked in the audit and business consulting departments of PwC, and before joining PwC he was employed at the National Bank of Poland for over 2 years.
