Dr. Krzysztof Księżopolski is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Policy at the Warsaw School of Economics. He specializes in energy policy, economic and energy security, climate protection, and renewable energy sources. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and reports, including "Economic Threats to State Security" (2004), "Economic Security" (2011), and "Poland's Climate and Energy Policy in 2014-2015" (2015). He is also the editor and co-editor of the following publications: "Renewable Energy Sources in Poland. Selected Problems of Security, Policy, and Administration" (2013), and "Smog Combating Strategy" (2015). Head of the Polish team in the NATO STO SAS-183 Energy Security Resilience, Capability and Interoperability (from 2022 to present). Chief expert in the project " Identification of challenges facing local governments and entrepreneurs from the Silesian Voivodeship related to the conditions of development policy in the area of ​​​​just transition and climate policy until 2050" (2024-2025), member of the NDSII, CLIVIE, Green Economy research project team from 2024 to present). Has extensive managerial and analytical experience gained in domestic and international enterprises and public administration. Head of postgraduate studies "Hydrogen Economy - Politics, Economics, Security"
