Maciej Jakubik, European Program Coordinator at the Energy Forum, specializes in shaping public policies and matters related to the EU decision-making process. His professional career has included the development of the European energy and gas market, the European Trade Union (ETS), and energy security issues. In recent years, he worked at Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (Polish Power Grids) and Central Europe Energy Partners in Brussels. He actively participated in EU legislative processes and participated in numerous working and expert groups of the European Commission and ENTSO-E. In the past, he has worked in public administration and diplomacy, including at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Development, and the Chancellery of the President. He is the author and co-author of articles and studies on the energy sector in Central Europe. He graduated in political science from the University of Warsaw and in European studies from the College of Europe in Natolin. He also completed postgraduate studies in energy at the Warsaw School of Economics and energy market courses at the Florence School of Regulation and the Energy Delta Institute.
