A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Lodz and postgraduate studies financed by European funds at the same university, she also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Poznań University of Economics. She has been with the Energy Regulatory Office since April 2017, initially as Director of the Central-Western Regional Branch based in Lodz. There, she dealt with numerous issues related to heat and electricity (including energy storage and renewable energy sources), gaseous and liquid fuels. In October 2024, following an open competition, she was appointed Vice President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
Appointed to the position of President of the Energy Regulatory Office on August 11, 2025, by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, following an open and competitive recruitment process. She is the first woman to serve as the Polish Energy and Fuel Market Regulator. She has initiated numerous initiatives in the area of energy development and advocates for cooperation beyond traditional divisions. She initiated the work of the Cross-Sectoral Polish Energy Development Accelerator at the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. Winner of the "Energy of Women 2025" award in the "Energy for Development" category, she undertakes numerous initiatives to digitize the institution under her supervision. In her work with people, she prioritizes dialogue, partnership, and the strength of relationships.
