A graduate of the University of Agriculture in Poznań (1990), he also received a European Union FH Weihenstephan (1991-1992). From 1994 to 1999, he served as an expert and Project Manager for Phare and USAID aid programs. He began his professional career at the Voivodeship Office in Poznań, and from 1993 to 2005, he served as a member of the management and supervisory boards of commercial law companies involved in business consulting, IT, and the energy industry. Since 2006, he has been associated with the Asseco Capital Group, where he manages the energy and gas sector. He is a co-author of numerous energy market studies, development strategies for energy companies, restructuring programs, and studies on the development of the energy market. He is a member of the Steering Committees of several of Poland's largest IT projects implemented for the energy industry. He is a co-author of Asseco's business development strategy for domestic and international markets, and oversees the development of Asseco products, their internationalization, and globalization.
